The site is free to search and frequently surfaces old addresses, phone numbers, and relatives — it's one of the more aggressive people search engines.

How to Remove Yourself

Step 1: Navigate to the Opt-Out Page

Important: The old URL (/opt_out/new) does NOT work. Go directly to: TruePeopleSearch Removal →

Step 2: Enter Your Email and Name

1. Enter a valid email address (they'll send a verification link)
2. Enter your first and last name
3. Complete the hCaptcha

Step 3: Check Your Email

Open the email from TruePeopleSearch and click the verification link. The link expires quickly — do not delay.

Step 4: Complete the Removal Form

After clicking the email link, you'll be taken to a form. Enter your full name and confirm the removal request.

Step 5: Confirm Removal

Submit the form. Your profile should be removed from search results within 72 hours (3 days).

Important Notes

• ⚠️ Your data WILL repopulate. TruePeopleSearch repopulates quickly — re-check every 90 days.
• Use /removal NOT /opt_out/new — the old URL is broken.
• If you have a common name, verify you're selecting the correct profile before submitting.
• Phone opt-out is also available: Call 888-838-4803 to request removal by phone.
• Multiple listings (different cities or old addresses) each require separate removal requests.
