What Spokeo Collects
Spokeo aggregates public records, social media profiles, and commercial data sources to build detailed personal profiles. It's one of the most visited people search sites on the internet and exposes your name, phone, email, address history, relatives, and social media accounts to anyone who searches for you.
What Data They Have on You

- 📱 Phone numbers (landline and mobile)

How to Remove Yourself
Step 1: Find Your Profile
Go to spokeo.com and search for your first and last name along with your city or state.
Step 2: Copy Your Profile URL
Click on your profile result. Then copy the full URL from your browser's address bar — you'll need the exact profile link for the opt-out.
Step 3: Submit the Opt-Out
Navigate to the Spokeo opt-out page: Spokeo Opt-Out →
- Paste your profile URL
- Enter your email address
- Complete any CAPTCHA
- Click Remove This Record
Step 4: Verify via Email
Check your email for a verification message from Spokeo. Click the confirmation link within 24 hours to finalize the removal.
Step 5: Confirm Removal
After clicking the email link, you should see a success page. Your profile will be removed from search results within 48–72 hours.

Important Notes
- ⚠️ Your data WILL repopulate. Spokeo continuously scrapes public records and social media. Plan to repeat this every 90 days.
- If you have a common name, make sure you're selecting your specific profile — Spokeo may have multiple people with the same name.
- Multiple listings require separate opt-out requests. If your data appears under multiple profiles (different cities, old addresses), repeat the process for each one.
- Spokeo may show a "premium" preview before a paywall — the opt-out process is free.
