What LiveRamp Collects

LiveRamp is an identity resolution and data collaboration platform primarily serving B2B clients in advertising, marketing, and media. They connect consumer identities across devices and channels using name, email, phone, postal address, device identifiers (cookies, mobile advertising IDs), and behavioral data. LiveRamp's core product is an identity graph that allows marketers to link your online behavior across multiple devices and platforms. They are a key piece of the digital advertising ecosystem — a large portion of the ads you see online are targeted using LiveRamp's identity data.

How to Remove Yourself

Step 1: Go to LiveRamp's Privacy Choices Page

Navigate to https://liveramp.com/privacy/my-privacy-choices — LiveRamp's official consumer opt-out page.

Step 2: Select Your Request Type

Choose the type of request you want to submit:

  • Opt-Out — Available to ALL US residents regardless of state
  • Access/Deletion/Correction — Available only to residents of states with enacted comprehensive privacy laws (CA, CO, CT, DE, IA, MD, MN, MT, NE, NH, NJ, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA)

Step 3: Provide Identity Verification Information

For Access/Deletion/Correction requests, LiveRamp requires government-issued photo ID + proof of residency in a regulated state + selfie upload + mobile phone. This is a rigorous identity verification process.

For Opt-Out requests, you will need to provide your name, email, phone, and address along with a cookie ID or mobile advertising ID.

Step 4: Wait for Processing

  • Opt-out: Processed within 15 days
  • Access/Deletion/Correction: Processed within 45 days

Important Notes

  • Cookie opt-out is per-browser/device — new browsers or devices require re-opt-out. Clearing cookies resets the opt-out.
  • Cookie/MAID opt-out lasts indefinitely only if you do not clear cookies or reset your mobile advertising ID.
  • Deletion does not stop ads — it only reduces ad personalization. LiveRamp recommends the Opt-Out over Deletion for minimizing advertising.
  • Access/Deletion is limited to regulated states — if you don't live in a state with comprehensive privacy law, your options are limited to the opt-out.
  • Phone: (844) 678-6784 for assistance with opt-out requests.
