How to Remove Yourself from AnyWho

Data collected: name, phone number, address, household information, relative names. Last verified: Mon Mar 30 2026 19:00:00 GMT-0500 (Central Daylight Time)

What AnyWho Collects

AnyWho is a free people search and reverse phone lookup service that displays personal information including names, phone numbers, addresses, and household details. Unlike dedicated data brokers, AnyWho does not collect data directly — it aggregates and displays information sourced from third-party people search brokers, primarily Intelius and PeopleConnect (the parent company behind BeenVerified, TruthFinder, and Instant Checkmate). Anyone can search for you by name or phone number without creating an account.

How to Remove Yourself

Step 1: Identify the Source Broker

AnyWho does not have its own opt-out mechanism. Your information on AnyWho comes from source brokers that power the listings. You must opt out of each source broker separately for your AnyWho results to disappear. The primary sources are:

  • Intelius — Visit https://www.intelius.com/privacy-center/ and submit a suppression request (email + full name + date of birth)
  • PeopleConnect Suppression Center — Visit https://suppression.peopleconnect.us/ to suppress your data from TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, and USSearch simultaneously
  • BeenVerified — Visit https://www.beenverified.com/app/optout/search and follow the people search opt-out process

Step 2: Opt Out of Each Source Broker

For each broker above:

  1. Search for your name in the broker's search box
  2. Locate your specific record
  3. Click the opt-out/suppression link
  4. Provide your email address
  5. Click the verification link in your email
  6. Complete identity verification (full name + date of birth)

Step 3: Search AnyWho to Verify

After completing suppression with the source brokers, search for your name on anywho.com to confirm your listings have disappeared. This may take 5–10 days after the source broker processes your opt-out.

Important Notes

  • AnyWho has NO direct opt-out — there is no removal form, no email contact, and no suppression tool on the site itself.
  • No working opt-out URL exists — previous redirects to Spokeo.com are defunct.
  • Data repopulates because AnyWho continuously refreshes from its source brokers. If your information reappears on AnyWho, it means your data has been re-collected by a source broker — repeat the suppression process.
  • The "Privacy Policy" and "Do Not Sell My Info" links in AnyWho's footer do not lead to functional removal forms.
  • Using a secondary email for all opt-out processes is recommended.
  • Persistence is key — if one source broker's suppression doesn't clear your AnyWho listing, try the others, as AnyWho may pull from multiple sources.
